I hate those bell ringers and the Salvation Army, nothing but crooks and druggies. Donate to worthy causes instead and actually halp someone with real medical problems or research.

If you want to boycott a store, boycott Wal-Mart for its monopolistic, predatory pricing practices that have encouraged the destruction of the American commerce system, its promotion of poverty labor/slave wages of its suppliers, its exploitation of children working in foreign factories, for leading the communist country of China into being a multi-billion dollar global market leader replacing American production and workers and for being party to an international lawsuit that is fighting to allow Chinese manufacturers to steal patent technology from American companies. Target gives tens of millions of dollars to charities every year. If they allow the Salvation Army, which is a good organization, to solicit for donations, they could be sued for not allowing other organizations such as neo-Nazi fundraisers from soliciting donations for their causes.

I don't get all the talk of boycotting Target. A company doesn't have to give money to charity at all. It is a matter of choice (otherwise it would be, what, a tax?). I think everyone should just be thankful that they give what they do. Furthermore, a store has a right to make store policies, and to choose where they wish their charitable donations to go. Do you know where everyplace you shop donates money to? If they donate at all, that is. When you get gas at the gas station or buy school supplies at a drug store do you choose which one to go to based on their charitable contributions? I think not.

Why don't all you stupid people who are spending so much of your time ranting on and on about your boycotting desires put your time to better use? For Instance: - You could volunteer to ring the bell yourself in front of a store that allows it - You could volunteer at a rescue mission and serve food to the homeless - You could create your own fundraiser and go door to door collecting You could do alot of things that are PRODUCTIVE - BUT NO - instead you sit on your asses writing and ranting... Congradulations you ARE a great example for the rest of us! Forgive me for not joining your battle against Target.

I think that Target is trying to provide a peaceful shopping environment for its customers. If you really want to help, you should donate your money to Salvation Army directly.....

It isnt just salvation that Target is not allowing it is also Toys for Tots campaign THey want nothing to do with the military or to help with the military. im sorry but if they cannot support our military and the people who give thier lives to serve our country and give all of us freedom then we do not need to support thier store. They have freedom to operate thier business here in AMerica why not help our Military. I agree its wrong not to let the Salvation Army stand outside its stores and I understand thier feelings to an extend but its for the people in Katrina Hurricane areas . THey also do not allow anything to do with Jesus either and thats just wrong!!! Thank you for allowing me to speak my mind

Come on say it with me even if it makes you cringe - F R E E D O M !!! So if you are so f*cking dumb and want everything in America to be based on your narrow views, perhaps it is time for you to move to another country that is totally state regulated - perhaps China will suit you! If you really want to look at "Un-American" chains, perhaps you should look at Walmart! The added benefit is that they support countries that think the same way you do!

I hate to say it but I am with Target on this one. Although the Salvation Army does a lot of good in the community, I find that some of the bell ringers tend to be pushy and at times their behavior borders on panhandling. I admit that is not always the case but because of the actions of a few, I tend to go in the door that is furthest from the ringers. With that I plan on being at Target more this season than other stores because of the bell ringers.

To say that people disagree with gay marriage and then bring up "African American" people, you are really off kilter or really hung up on the PAST! Target can have their sales and try to compete, but eventually they will go broke. Can't keep up with the Wal-Mart's of the times.

Atleast I posted why I ask you all to boycott Target stores. walmart and the rest of them sell the same items on the shelves, that is fine if you prefer to pay more at your favorite "unamerican" target store for the exact same thing. you are the only stupid one... you can not see the forest through the trees infront of you.
