Had a friend order a whole bunch of clothes for her kids...they made her seperate it into two orders...thus charging $10 for shipping. I don't know the dollar amount spent....I think around $300.

Guest -> RE: Flat Rate $5 Shipping is Back at Old Navy (4/30/2006 2:21:14 PM)

It's not that great of a deal if you only want to order something small.

Guest -> RE: Flat Rate $5 Shipping is Back at Old Navy (5/9/2006 8:52:44 PM)

Ship to Canada or at least have the good stuff in the stores here in the right sizes!

Guest -> RE: Flat Rate $5 Shipping is Back at Old Navy (5/11/2006 9:43:17 AM)

It's stupid that Old Navy not Ship in Canada ! There's never the good size in the store ... ! so we could find it on the wewb site .... but what can we do that sooo dumbling

Guest -> RE: Flat Rate $5 Shipping is Back at Old Navy (6/10/2006 5:24:03 PM)

I would love to buy maternity wear at old navy, unfortunately the items in stores(canada) are not the greatest. Ordering online would be perfect IF they would just ship to Canada!!

Guest -> RE: Flat Rate $5 Shipping is Back at Old Navy (3/6/2007 12:38:36 PM)

I was trying to place a big order...but like most people here...I live in Canada and obviously can only get things through the stores...but thats okay because American Eagle does ship to Canada!![:D]

Guest -> RE: Flat Rate $5 Shipping is Back at Old Navy (3/17/2007 8:00:51 PM)

Great Deal! If I was American. You know, I could consider this whole thing an insult if I didn't know better... then again, it really doesn't make sense why you do not ship to Canada. Again, I find it very frustrating that the sizes I need are never in the stores. But like another post said... At least American Eagle ships. I also will be choosing them. Or another idea is to make sure there are plenty of sizes in all the stores, and not just one or two of each size. [:@][>:]

Guest -> RE: Flat Rate $5 Shipping is Back at Old Navy (3/22/2007 2:07:09 AM)

yeah.. why dont they ship to Canada.. store has very limited sizes!

Guest -> RE: Flat Rate $5 Shipping is Back at Old Navy (4/28/2007 12:01:38 PM)

I too would like to shop old navy online but I'm Canadian and also live 4hrs away from a store,Come on guys!

Guest -> RE: Flat Rate $5 Shipping is Back at Old Navy (6/4/2007 8:32:29 PM)

No kidding Old Navy should ship to Canada. How about letting us apply for an Old Navy card too so that we can get in on some of those deals.

Guest -> RE: Flat Rate $5 Shipping is Back at Old Navy (7/8/2007 11:13:49 AM)

It costs more to ship to Canada. They probably have to deal with extra paperwork and procedures to ship there. Plus Old navy would have to create another website devoted to Canada. Ever notice the stores that do ship to Canada/other countries...they have one website for U.S. and one separate for other countries because we all don't use the same currency. They have to convert the prices to show the other currency prices for international shoppers. All this would cost the company extra time/work/money to do. The question for the company would be: Is it worth it in the long run?

Guest -> RE: Flat Rate $5 Shipping is Back at Old Navy (7/15/2007 4:27:53 PM)

Almost every other company finds it worth it.

Guest -> RE: Flat Rate $5 Shipping is Back at Old Navy (7/21/2007 6:50:44 PM)

Back it up with a list of companies because I can only think of a few and most companies I purchase any type of merchandise from don't ship internationally nor have a separate website. If you take into account all the vast majority of well-known U.S. retailers out there, it's only a very small percentage that ships internationally or offer an international website.

Guest -> RE: Flat Rate $5 Shipping is Back at Old Navy (7/21/2007 7:02:29 PM)

Canadians shouldn't be complaining. You already have more retail websites created for your own purchasing purposes than other countries. Do you see websites geared solely to European, Asian, South American countries, Australia? I'm a seller and I always have customers from European and Asian countries ask me to purchase merchandise for them from major retail companies (a side deal) and ship it to them but I can't also because of the risks and liability.

PHENOMENALADIE -> RE: Flat Rate $5 Shipping is Back at Old Navy (7/22/2007 3:19:56 PM)

aww man! I was looking for an OLD NAVY deal [&:]

Guest -> RE: Flat Rate $5 Shipping is Back at Old Navy (7/26/2007 10:41:31 AM)

Victoria Secrets, Eddie Bauer, LL Bean, Lands End, American Eagle, Steve Maden Shoes, Fredericks of Hollywood, JC Penney, JCrew, Delia's, Abercrombie and Fitch, Pea in a Pod, Talbots etc all ship to Canada. So to say that no one ships is false. All these retailers do not seem to mind. Also they say right on IN USD. So what? They don't need two sites. Your credit card converts the amount for you...it is ludicrous that GAP does not ship to Canada.

Guest -> RE: Flat Rate $5 Shipping is Back at Old Navy (7/26/2007 10:42:40 AM)

Also there is a reason why Canadians should be able to have the ability over european....it's called the free trade agreement!!!! Of course it only is remembered by the US when it works in their favor.

are you truly serious -AND THAT IGNORANT??!![&o]
sad really...
yup, canadians don't have any stores that are also in the US!
wow, just , wow

a few companies who do indeed have both types of sites (by the way, it is not THAT expensive for them to do anymore, and they would make a great profit. You should really know your facts before blurting stuff out that makes you look like an a**):
Apple
Wal-mart
sears
American Eagle
the home depot
Best Buy

Just to name a few[8|]

Guest -> RE: Flat Rate $5 Shipping is Back at Old Navy (9/14/2007 7:11:04 PM)

And yes, I actually know that it would not be costly to them-having a family member who has a PERSONAL business and has done this for years-not to mention that the Canadian dollar is currently at .97 USD!

I love it when people spew ignorance

as to those attempting to compare canada to europe-THAT is a whole different matter, as you well know! we are talking about a HUGE cost in shipping and currency exchange-not to mention , um well WE ACTUALLY HAVE OLD NAVY STORES IN OUR COUNTRY.
as has been said, shipping AnD currency exchange are not huge issues.
YES I have personal experience with this, and am not just pulling something out of my a** as some here have been doing!
THAT is why we would like them to ship to us. it is nowhere in the realm of whining and being unreasonable.
again, let's use some logic people

Guest -> RE: Flat Rate $5 Shipping is Back at Old Navy (9/18/2007 2:54:14 AM)

i too am frustrated that old navy does not ship to Canada. I live 12 hrs away from the nearest store!! I have on occassion, phoned a store to do a "charge-send" but the old navy website doesn't seem to have store locator information for Canadian stores any longer! Anybody happen to have the contact info for all the stores in the greater Vancouver area? I have a big shopping list ready and no way to get it done!

Guest -> RE: Flat Rate $5 Shipping is Back at Old Navy (9/18/2007 11:37:26 PM)

there is a full listing here
