Walmart will let you match the ads of anther store the day after thanksgiving I work there.

Yeah..Why do you work at Walmart if its so bad??? I am a customer that believes that the employees should have first grabs! If I miss out on something - I'm bummed but I don't fret about who got there before me - I have more important things to fret about.

Anyone heard about on Elder Bierman or Marshall Fields yet?

This actually doesn't always work. I work for one of the retailers mentioned. Coming in once a week to compare ad prices is no longer allowed in our store. We had way too many people doing it and it takes so long for our layaway associates to do it that we have limited it so that the only time you can do this is when you pick up your layaway. You can however save the ads and bring them in at that time. And as for one of the other messages saying employees set aside merchandise for ourselves....in my store that is terms for termination.

The only problem with the Video Now is that its black and white. Toys R us has one for $50 with a free case though. go to www.**** and they have a list for all the stores

The PS2 won't sell for less than 149.99. They may include a game for 179.99, or free bonus controller, but no direct price cut on the PS2.

Wow! this rules! I need a PS2 system and I was hoping someone would run one for less than $149, but I need one for my son and I guess that's the best price I'll get, if I'm lucky enough to get one at all. Wish me luck. Have fun everyone and stay safe. Happy holidays!

The ads come out on Thanksgiving day. And for the person who asked, Kmart will allow layaway on black friday.
Next time though, go put your items on layaway at kmart b-4 black friday, then just walk in at the ad times and have them match the ad price. Saves you alot of running around. Kmart is great for just that reason!

For everyone who is going to try to price match, layaway or price adjust...

Please call you store because policies do vary. I know my Kmart will not be adjusting layaways, and last year was told by certain stores they will not price match. Also, Meijer will only price match *mine* for what is exactly pictured. It can say assorted or give a size or price range but unless it is pictured they wouldnt price match it.

Walmart has a 27'' Flat Screen TV for 178.88$ . What brand and model is that. Anybody know? The ad is terribly vague.

Why Radio Shack? They have awful deals compared to Circuit City, Best Buy, and Office Max.

They do have free CD-R's if I remember correctly (but nothing else free)

All the people posting day after thanksgiving ad's early...most of the info wasn't "dead on". Office Max postings were COMPLETELY off. Don't use that black friday website to get your information; I believe all they do is take last years deals and perdict off of those figures. With that said, I hope everybody is ready for an Earrrrrrrly morning tomorrow.

Actually I saw radio shacks ad. I normally don't find then exciting, but this year they have some really good deals on $5 kids radio and cd head sets, $5pen camera's, racing cars and much more.
