Thanks to whoever posted the Homemaker page. I didn't get anything off the retired page, but did order a few gifts from their catalog for my wife.
I liked all the choices. And they said I would have them by Wednesday. Pretty quick I thought. Thanks again for the Christmas idea!

I did it a ccouple of years ago, it definitely works out in 2 cases, on the one hand, it saves you from going place to place, and it also saves Money at Wally World. Best Buy also lets folks do this as well as I worked for them last year and we comped ads from other stores on Black Friday

Yes, you can layaway Black Friday items that you are comping from other stores at Wal-Mart as I did that a couple of years back and my fiance also verified that as she works for Wal-Mart.

You are right on the part of it the ad isn't for that day or week, however, the best way to have the ads for everyone when you go is to purchase your local paper on Thanksgiving. That way, you should have the Black Friday ad in your hands..

Home Depot is supposed to have some really good things on sale this year, they are not typically a destination for Black Friday items, but they are going to have some very good doorbusters at 6 am! A little birdie told me anyway!

This will be my first black friday, coming from Canada. Does anyone know if their are sales at Kaufmans or Bonton stores? Couldn't find anything. Even when to the site that just posted www.bf2004.net/stores.

Handyguy, you're a retard. Have you ever waited in line and actually bought any of the sale items? Employees aren't allowed to purchase Black Friday sales items until the end of the day. They can certainly wait in line like the rest, if they happen to be off work that day -- which is unlikely, given the volume of sales and necessity for labor.

In reply to the people asking about ad matching. I myself do this as much as possible. Some stores do not match, but you need only call in advance to find out who does and doesn't match prices. I actually put all my gifts on layaway in advance at k-mart and then go in one a week to see if they have any sales. I just tell the layaway department to check for sales and they take the price off my layaway. I then go in the day after thanksgiving and they will also match the ad's, as long as it is during that time period for the day. They will also match anyones ad's during the year also. I have saved as much as $300 on just one layaway. And only shopped in one place rather then drive around to all of them.
And in response to the person talking about employees buying the merchandise. It's not suppose to happen, but it does. Employee's place the items behind counters or in the back room and then have someone else ring it up for them. Sorry, but it does happen.

About the video now player listed at wal-mart....does anyone know if that also includes the video now jr. player???????
i'm thinking not......but if it does...that would be awesome!!! i have a 3 yr. old...and she really wants that!!!!
