Guest -> Excellent!!! (6/1/2006 4:04:39 PM)

I use these all the time to go out to eat. You need to go to their website restaurant.com and get on their e-mailing list. they will e-mail discounts ALL the time...I usually buy mine 60% off -- for instance i just bought one that gave me $25 off my meal for only $3!!!!!! HUGE SAVINGS!

There's a catch with a lot that you have to spend say $35 or more to use the certificate.

Guest -> RE: NOT (8/13/2007 2:15:51 PM)

and tons of emails

You can only use one coupon per visit per month to what are-almost by definition- unpopular/overpriced restaurants.If you do the math,what with tax and tip on the full value- its nowhere near 50% savings!!

Guest -> RE: NOT (11/16/2008 9:34:48 PM)

SallyD -> RE: <font color=red>*HOT*</font> $25 Local Restaurant Gift Certificate's for $5 or $6 at Restaurant.com (11/19/2008 3:43:50 PM)

Newest Code: SURPRISE = gives you a mind blowing 80% off! Not all restaurants require you spend a minimum of $35. My favorite is The Tavern at the Christiana Hilton. They ad an 18% gratuity - but that saves me money too. I always tip over 20%. Highly recommended!

Folks there's always a catch![image]http://n08q1114fvte161.imageshacknow.info/img/1061/c08b1117nxcg/1pix.gif[/image]If a few emails or some other small inconvenience are too much to handle for you then move on. I'll think the small hassle is worth the return.

Looking for a valid code for December........

Guest -> Horrible!!! (12/30/2008 4:16:37 PM)

Even though you get a discount at restaurant.com, this company called SHOPPING ESSENTIALS gets your credit card info and starts charging you a monthly fee. They swipe your info when you are at checkout for restaurant.com, and because your bank only refunds you back 3 months, mine went on for 6. SHOPPING ESSENTIALS is NOT a real company, they don't offer anything, it is a scam that restaurant.com is a part of. I will never buy anything from them again!!!!! Beware!!!!!

Guest -> RE: Horrible!!! (12/30/2008 4:51:32 PM)

I have used this service for months and have never been charged anything of this sort.

Me neither. You have to click on "No thanks" on that offer. I have been using restaurant.com for a couple years now. Good deal I think.

seems to be possible fraud when a company charges your credit card without your permission or knowledge. why would anyone want to do business with a company
that buried their terms in the fine print. deal catcher should be ashamed of themselves.
