what dave suggested is a very cheap way of getting a sandwich. common people...we can do better than this..they are all franchises and they work that way..

Trust me a Subway franchisee would rather throw the Sub away than give it to a loser like you DAVE. You can do that at Quiznos. Subway ain't hurting for your business.

I just tried to use a coupon from the entertainment guide in upstate, NY and they said they are not good at any subway. The coupon was for the establishment and they still wouldn't accept it. I ordered a second foot long sub thinking the other was free. What a scam!!!!!

Subway restaurants are franchisee owned. Subway HQ doesn't create coupons, it's left up to each market to decide if and what they want to create. Coupons created in a market are only released in that market. Owners in other markets are not required to accept anything that's not released by their market or Subway HQ promotions. Unfortunately, this can cause an issue when someone wants to redeem a coupon in a different market or at a different location that isn't required to accept it. Some locations will accept most out of market coupons, unless the coupon is being abused in some manner. Most likely, if a coupon doesn't have an expiration date, it will be flagged at that location and may not be accepted.
