Time to get the CC company, BBB, and FTC involved. When you file complaints send 321 Studios copies of the complaints. shelbY

321 told me that they had not received my mail. For some reason, I could not find the copies I made of the UPC code & rebate coupon. (Murphy's Law) J&R, the merchant I bought the Platinum copy from, assisted me in procurring my rebate. Finally, 321 offered $80 towards another purchase, a gift certificate for someone else, or the $40. There is a phone no., but I'd have to get back to you. J&R assured me from the beginning that they would make sure that I received my rebate. I was aware that 321 had legal problems. Actually, 321 said that they did not have a rebate, but it turned out that it was a special between 321 & J&R. I paid about $89 with the ripper. I had problems with my proprietary DVD burner, 321's tech service sent me a link to a patch. I only own 3 DVDs, but one is a dual layered protected DVD, and it copied perfectly to one disk! Go to 321Studios on-line and there is a phone no; it is long-distance. There is a link for your rebate status. When I checked my rebate status, I was under the impression that it was pending, but after e-mailing them, I was informed as I described above, that they had not received my documents. You may have to scan a copy of your UPC, receipt, and other documentation.

I find this most interesting, as I was also awaiting my rebate and it looks like they won't even process your rebate until you go to their website and SUBMIT a selection. No where on the rebate form did it say to do this. shelbY

Oh, no I just lost my post. I believe that the rebate coupon instructed me to register the rebate on-line, then of course I had to send the UPC, copy of receipt, and other documents via mail. When I checked the status of my rebate it seemed as if it were pending. However, it had been over 8 weeks, so I called & e-mailed. I was told that they had not received my rebate documents. I even saved a screenshot of the on-line status which I sent to J&R. Gosh, if I had not called or e-mailed 321, I might have waited forever. I believe there are laws that companies must send your money w/in a certain time-frame. I e-mailed them a cc of my receipt (could not find the copy of the UPC code, the printout is on this desk somewhere) and J&R assisted me, too. FGS, I had to register my product to use it! Their tech service was great. With the proprietary DVD writer, I have problems with any CD/DVD writing program. Their tech found the patch. This PC is going back to HP (thanks to Sam's Club manager) to fix that & other problems.
