dbaxter -> Fry's weekly ad (10/30/2003 4:58:09 PM)

I know these are hard to find because Fry's dosn't really have a web site. We found a search page for a newspaper that has the fry's ad.

http://mercurynews.search.travidia.com/Search.aspx?s=frys&search=all

Kegger22 -> RE: Fry's weekly ad (11/2/2003 7:00:05 PM)

When you go to the link and follow thru to the page all the pages are links on the left of the page that won't pull up the page

GameFAQsRolo -> RE: Fry's weekly ad (11/5/2003 12:55:56 AM)

Los Angeles County/Orange County

Go to latimes.com
Click on "Newspaper Ads" on the left menu [blue box]
Click on "Newspaper Ads" again
Click on "Technology" on the left and when available, Fry's will be listed

http://ads.myoc.com/onlineads/ocr/index.jsp copy and paste is best because I've been havings problems loading this through a normal click [damned **** link]

The ads at the register are in .pdf format and they usually carry the ads over from day to day until the sale is over. LaTimes only lists certain days and only for a limited time of the day. They both list the same specials.

GameFAQsRolo -> RE: Fry's weekly ad (11/5/2003 12:58:08 AM)

I should also add that Fry's Electronics does have a website, outpost.com. They do have specials listed, home page, bottom right corner for the links. The specials usually aren't as great as the local specials, but these are nationwide and you can order online.

Guest -> RE: Fry's weekly ad (11/17/2003 12:45:24 AM)

I found another site Fry's Electronics Ads to check for Fry's sales. It's easier to browse and has everything categorized.

Guest -> RE: Fry's weekly ad (11/17/2003 11:02:48 PM)

Guest -> RE: Fry's weekly ad (11/21/2003 9:35:50 AM)

Every one of Fry's ads are here for the Dallas/Fort Worth stores. I don't know if the prices are different at other stores.

Fry's has official website www.outpost.com, but weekly on sale items and prices are different from newspaper ads.

In great Los Angeles area, please check Los Angeles times ad on Wednesay and Friday.

just some info, both the L.A. Times and the oc register sites seem to be purposely delaying any posting of the fry's ads on their sites probably due to certian groups of individuals "hoarding" sale items and then turning around and selling on ebay! don't believe it? just look on ebay shortly after a motherboard and cpu combo goes on sale at fry's, the same items pop up on ebay for sale with an inflated price! what's funny is that a lot of sellers don't even bother to remove the fry's price sticker from the box before taking a picture! so that's why i think the newspaper sites are delaying the ads,used to be you could "prepare" for a fry's sale as early as 3:00am in the LA/orange county area in so cal, not anymore,sometimes as late as 10:00am now,your better off buying the news paper in the mornings now.

Guest -> RE: Fry's weekly ad (6/3/2004 2:49:01 PM)

fry's website :

www.outpost.com

trix235 -> RE: Fry's weekly ad -why isn't it online? (6/15/2004 6:50:18 AM)

What is the business reason why Fry's does not post their newspaper ads on their website? I'm not talking about Outpost or other poor souls who have to scan the ads and end up getting a cease and desist from Fry's.

It seems to me that they'd get more sales if they let us know what their specials were on their main site

twomighty4u -> RE: Fry's weekly ad -why isn't it online? (6/15/2004 4:19:50 PM)

That's prob because they are only in certain markets.
Even in CA market they have different ads for SF, LA on OC markets.
You'ld have to know the newspapers they advertise in and then you should be able to access from there.

Guest -> RE: Fry's weekly ad -why isn't it online? (6/21/2004 4:00:33 AM)

Arizona Republic has Fry's Ads all the time for Phoenix and Tempe, but I don't see them on the Arizona Republic website, however, I see other vendor ads there. What's up with that? Arizona Republic Advertisers

Zotherredhead -> RE: Fry's weekly ad -why isn't it online? (6/22/2004 3:57:22 AM)

We don't have a Frys in our area. Are they on the web? What do they sell?

I can't speak for the "Arizona Republic" But ads in the local LA and OC market are on our local newspaper's webside. LATIMES.com and OCREGISTER.com.

Good Luck...
