Yeah, I had the same confusion. But, it' s not the Subway' s Corporate website Hotobhaga was referring to, it was the website of this particular guy' s franchise! It' s called " subwaymyway.com. It took me awhile to figure this all out. That' s why odie82 said that they are valid at only 5 Subways.
IMO, that' s the only thing we can be guaranteed of: that they are indeed valid at the five locations at this Steve Ginsberg' s franchised locations all of which are in the Los Angeles area: click here for the 5 locations
And, as odie82 implied, not all Subways are required to accept the coupons. Unless the coupons come directly from the corporation and all franchisees are required to accept them, then it' s up to the individual franchise owner to decide whether they' ll be good or not.
Burger Kings are like that. I once had a coupon for something and tried to redeem it at a BK in another area of town ...only about 4 miles away, but they told me that they didn' t accept the coupon at that particular store. They told me that it had to be used at a " participating location" as the fine print says.  I was pi**ed and frustrated!
