I have ordered quite a few times from eCost and fortunately had no issues with the product nor the order execution. Pricing was competetive too.

But yes, rebates on items bought from ecost is a different story alltogether, regardless of whether the rebate is a manufacturer rebate or an ecost rebate. It's been almost a year and I am still waiting for my rebates. Customer service (if you need it) is bad too.

Shipping is okay if you get lucky otherwise it's usually $5+ for even small items.

And beware, some items they sell are refurbished (as in this case) but they usually mention that in the product description.

Summarizing, stay away from ecost in case of alternative vendor/pricing options and ALWAYS stay away from ecost if the item carries a rebate. Chances are you will never get it.
