dealer2003 -> RE: Printer Advice: Dell A960 vs. HP 5510 (1/5/2004 9:59:23 PM)

You may already be aware of this. The Dell printers are actually Lexmark doubles. Specially made such that the Lexmark ink carts won't work. I don't have very good experience with Lexmark but I remember that the A960 seems to have a good review with PC Mag. But I really like the HP's style and foot print, if flatbed scanning is not of your concern. I think fax based All-in-ones tend to be more reliable overtime. A word of advice for buying All-in-Ones is that you are likely to keep the device for a much longer period than a printer or scanner alone. So the price of ink cart is really important. I just hate Lexmart in the area of low end printers. Not sure about the A960.
